Northfield Mountain will host the 27th Annual Connecticut River Valley Astronomer's Conjunction.
Enjoy the camaraderie of amateur astronomers learning and observing together under the dark skies at Northfield Mountain.
As in past years the weekend will be jam-packed full of slide presentations, talks, and Friday and Saturday night sky viewing through telescopes of all shapes and sizes. Talk topics include meteorites, astrobiology and a keynote presentation by Emmy and Peabody award-winning filmmaker Thomas Levenson titled, “Newton and the Counterfeiter: The Unknown Detective Career of the World’s Greatest Scientist.” Sunspot viewing is also available during the day on Saturday, cloud cover permitting.
