Since the end of Prohibition, The Rendezvous has been called the Rendezvous for all but three years. But before that, in the late 19th, early 20th century, it was the St. John Baptiste Society (we'll also be celebrating St. J.B. day, about a month late), a club for French-Canadians who moved down to work in the mills here in Turners.

We found lots of documents, member ledgers, letters, etc, in the attic of the building. Many of the families on those docs have remained in Turners, and grown, and we're hoping that some of them (you!) will show up and tell us a story or two. Find your name and win a prize!
