(Flamenco Connection), and "simply brilliant" (Flamenco Buzz.com) the Val Ramos Flamenco Ensemble represents the best of contemporary Flamenco music, song, and dance.

The Val Ramos Flamenco Ensemble is the premier Flamenco fusion group in the United States. Established in 1994, the group features the unique talents of VAL RAMOS (lead Flamenco guitarist), JOSE R. RAMOS (Flamenco guitarist), GONZALO CORTES (flutist), CARLOS HERNANDEZ CHAVEZ (bassist), JOSE BERRIOS (percussionist), and MATT MOADEL (cajon player/percussionist), with special guest ALFONSO CID (the talented Flamenco singer from Sevilla, Spain) and JULISSA CADENILLAS (dancer)

This concert will be followed by a short workshop on Flamenco dance.

From Peskeomskut Park/Avenue A & Seventh St. Traffic Light -

* Proceed up Seventh Street, between St. Kaziemerz Society & Carnegie Library.
* Take the second right - L Street (right after Our Lady of Peace Church) and proceed up L Street which bears left onto Montague Street
* Take your third left - Crocker Avenue (right before the ballfields)
* Proceed down Crocker Avenue - Sheffield Elementary School will be on your right
* Park in the gravel parking lot, and proceed to one of the front entrances of the school to access the auditorium.
