The Gallery at Hallmark is excited to announce the opening of "Art + Space: Collected Work from Local Artists". This exhibit is a culmination of a juried show of entries from photographers and artists in the southern New England area.

The Exhibition Opening reception, available to the public at no charge, will take place from 1:00 to 5:00pm and will include refreshments and live music. "Art + Space: Collected Work from Local Artists" will be on display Fridays through Sundays 1:00 to 5:00pm through Sunday, February 28, 2010.

Located in the Colle Opera House at 85 Avenue A in historic downtown Turners Falls, the exhibit will feature the work of local artists, highlighting the rich and varied talent found here in our extended community.

The call for entries to this show was purposefully un-themed, allowing for a wide variety of submissions. Among the selected entries, you will see beautiful, thought-provoking and stimulating pieces of artwork that include paintings, sculpture, photography and collage. The number of stellar entries received was staggering, and the final exhibition is an excellent sampling of the diverse talent in the region, with something for everyone to appreciate.
