Come find out about PowerTown music's efforts in helping to build a thriving sustainable music industry in Franklin County and creating jobs and educational opportunities for teens and young adults. The event will feature:

· Program Director Monte Belmonte from WRSI 93.9 The River, speaking about his experiences working in radio and the state of the music industry.

·Live performances by DeAngelo Nieves and Dakota Roberts, who have been involved with The Brick House for many years.

· A presentation by Brick House Staff and Board members Jared Libby, Bridger Felton and Peter Hamelin about PowerTown's vision, the opportunities for involvement and upcoming events including: concerts at the Shea Theater, Burrito Rojo, and a partnership with Turners Falls RiverCulture to present the Turners Falls Block Party and a brand new Wednesday night concert series in Peskeomskut Park.
