Lai Meng Meng, China
Errors/ Fragments, 2015 (video, mixed media, photography)
This installation is based upon the strange case of the crash of USAF CT-43 in Croatia in 1996.
Lai Meng’s work came via the Millers Falls Arts Bridge. The MFAB connects the creativity of artists from China and around the world with the culture, history and natural beauty of New England. Pictured (left) Rick Widmer of the MFAB installing Errors/Fragments.

Recent Paintings
Julianne Jones is an artist living and practicing in the Pioneer Valley and Franklin County. She received an Associates degree in Fine Arts from Greenfield  Community College and is working on her BFA in Studio Arts at UMass Amherst. Her works run the gamut from small watercolors to large figurative charcoal drawings. She has explored self portraiture in a range of media and primarily paints large scale works on paper or canvas, adding collage and mixed media during her process. She focus on layering, ripping, erasing and repainting, not only building up her surfaces as she works, but creating a metaphor for marginalized identities who often become ripped and ravaged throughout history. Her explosive, primary rich color palette brings life to her large abstract paintings, brightening the dark social justice inflected undertones of each piece.
