The Scarecrow project is the first-ever business collaboration aimed to raise regional tourism by displaying scarecrows along the Mohawk Trail, from Athol to Williamstown.
Riverculture is working with the Montague Business Association to create scarecrows to decorate town and the Turners Falls- Gill intersection/Route 2. You can keep your creation after the display weekend, October 18-19th.
RiverCulture will have all of the basic scarecrow building supplies: frames, pants, shirts, heads and hay for stuffing. YOU bring ideas and accessories to personalize YOUR scarecrow. Especially unusual hats and clothing work well. Think creatively! rockstar, astronaut, footballer, medieval queen, farmer...
