Gill Fall Festival and Craft Fair
October 16 + 17, 2010 : 18th Annual Gill Arts + Crafts Festival
Come and support local Artists, Farmers, Firemen and Musicians! A juried craft fair with over 50 local artists there are many new artists showing wares both fun and functional! Lots of great produce is still available, also wonderful food and hand-cut French Fries by the Gill Firemen, Vegetarian Soup by the Gill Tavern and Apple Pies handmade by the Friends of Gill. Groove Shoes, Derrick Jordan, Ben Karis-Nix and Sonny Crawford will provide toe-tapping tunes powered by the sun! Stop by the children's' art activity tent for candle rolling, instant photos, face and pumpkin painting. Demonstrations all day long with Uppingill wheat, drop spindle spinning, also you can up-cycle plastic into useful, everyday items, play the Diamond Bridge game, set some letter type and try on a sari dress/skirt/top! It's just more fun in Gill!
