Franklin County Pumpkin Fest

Oct 20, 2012 (3:00pm - 9:00pm)

The third annual Pumpkinfest will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 on Avenue A in Turners Falls. The event is FREE to the public. Just bring cash for food, beer, and fun! The event runs from 3-9pm, with FREE shuttling from Turners Falls High School and Sheffield School!

The event takes place on public property, and thus dogs are permitted at this event. However, for the safety of all guests (and the animals being stepped on!) we suggest not bringing them.

Costumes are also permitted - and encouraged!

Guests are encouraged to bring carved and painted pumpkins. They can be brought starting at 10am in front of St. Kaz on Avenue A. The other pumpkin station, located on 3rd St, opens at 12pm.

The beer tent opens at 3pm with Berkshire, Lefty's, and Element Breweries pouring the goods. At the same time, the great tunes will begin!

On the Main Stage:
Tommy Fuentas Band 3:00 – 4:00pm
Radio Vendetta 4:20 – 5:20pm

Ruby’s Complaint 5:40 – 6:40pm
Curly Fingers Dupree 7:00 – 8:20pm
Greg Stewart aka DJ MP3J 8:40 – 9:40pm
.. and performances by Karen's Dance Studio inbetween the music!

Stop by RiverCulture's Spook Station at the old Greenfield Savings Bank building at 195 Avenue A next to the pumpkin check-in station, starting at dusk.  Enter an eerie zombie habitat.  Suggested $5 donation supports RiverCulture programming.
