The Shea Theater presents a New Renaissance Players production of Tennessee Williams' "A Streetcar Named Desire" directed by Michael Glazier. Come enjoy the bittersweet beauty of Tennessee Williams' 1947 American Classic "A Streetcar Named Desire" The dynamic story of one hot summer in New Orleans, where lust and delusion fade into an autumn of despair. New Renaissance Players present the infamous Blanche Dubois and company starting Friday November 9th at 7:30 PM New Renaissance players are the Shea Theater's very own Resident Company. Formed in November 2010 and funded by an initial grant from "Welcome Yule!" 100% of the proceeds from every NRP production is used to keep the Shea Theater an active and vibrant performing arts space in Turners Falls, MA
