ABOUT:
Unity Skatepark in Turners Falls has been 16 years in the planning. The 7000 square foot seamless concrete park, combining street and transition elements including bowls, hips, stairsteps, rails was designed to encourage interdisciplinary riding for all skill levels. Unity Skatepark would be an unparallelled resource, with beautiful views of the Connecticut River and access to the bike path, playgrounds, open fields and courts. The land has been acquired, and the town is planning for a vote to approve the project May 3.
