International Rowers in Turners!
River benefit brings international rowers to Turners.
Come to Unity Park to greet 75 rowers from around the world as they land at Unity Park. The sleek 33' boats will be spectacular--don't forget your camera! This festive event will have live music, outdoor games, and water quality monitoring demonstrations from the Connecticut River Watershed Council. A brief ceremony to welcome the rowers will take place at 4:00 p.m. Hotdogs and drinks will be available to buy. Countries represented:
Argentina, Australia, Austria,Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and U.S.
