M.A.M's Small Works Exhibition at the Montague Mill

In response to feedback received at our First Annual May Day Fine Art Exhibit and Sale, M.A.M is organizing a fall small works exhibit to be held at the Montague Mill. To distinguish this show from the May Day exhibit, we are asking artists to work with variations of the 6" square. Our hope is that this will pose an interesting challenge to artists and lead to compelling, affordable work for the viewing public.

When: Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 10:30am to 3:30pm

Where: On sundry walls of the Book Mill, Lady Killigrew Café, Night Kitchen,
Rick Dodge Antiques, and Turn It Up!

Who: Town of Montague residents (Lake Pleasant, Millers Falls, Montague Center, Montague City, Turners Falls). Fine artists only (drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture)
Limited to twelve (12) artists

How: Contact Claudine Mussuto at 413.367.2687 or claudine_trudi@yahoo.com to express interest by September 12th. Registration fee of $20 (to cover the cost of a paid advertisement in the Greenfield Recorder and an exhibition card) due by September 15th. (Artists will be registered on a first paid/first confirmed basis) Create original works of art that respond to use of the 6" square: 6" x 6"
maximum size; rectangles welcome. Two- and three-dimensional work in all media accepted Price your work at $75 or less.
