Northfield Mountain's 44-seat riverboat, has been cruising the Connecticut River for over 30 years. The "QII" makes 12-mile round trips through the enchanting French King Gorge, and on to historic Barton Cove - home to nesting bald eagles and the site of a former dinosaur track quarry. An on-board interpreter narrates each cruise, offering information on the culture, habitats, and natural history of this spectacular stretch of river.
The Quinnetukut operates Friday through Sunday starting the last weekend of June until the middle of October". In addition, it will operate on Columbus Day, Monday, October 11th. The Riverboat will not operate on Independence Day (July 4th) or Labor Day (September 6th). We also offer special entertainment cruises, family cruises, and charters. These events, plus weather conditions may cause the daily schedule to vary on specific days, so always call ahead for reservations at (800) 859-2960.
